Joining Up Club is easy, and means you can take part in our events and activities in both Christchurch and Dunedin.

Step Up (8 - 12 years)

Step Up gives younger children with Down Syndrome an opportunity to learn social skills and make new friends. The group attends events in the community or at St Ninian’s Church in Riccarton

Junior Up (13 - 17 years)

Junior Up club is held every second Friday evening at Middleton Grange School in Riccarton or in the community. Smaller group events are sometimes held on alternate weeks so that the Juniors can attend sports events, concerts or shows.

Senior Up (18 + years)

Senior Up Club is held every second Friday evening at Middleton Grange School or in the community. Smaller group events are sometimes held on alternate weeks so that the Seniors can attend sports events, concerts or shows. Seniors can attend weekend away trips. These overnight trips (eg Hanmer and Kaikoura) are largely organised by the Seniors with staff available to provide support. The group plans activities, books transport and budgets for food. This gives Seniors a fantastic opportunity to develop further independence and organisational skills.

Dunedin

Up Club Dunedin meet fortnightly at locations around Dunedin for community based events or at our base at 26 Stafford Street.
